The detector works on the basis of photoelectric technology, which means that it is particularly effective at detecting smoke arising in the initial phase of a fire, before flames have even appeared. The unit is equipped with optical indicator and a loud audible signal (85dB) to guarantee effective warning of danger, even in larger rooms. The product has been designed for easy installation. Surface mounting means that the detector man be easily fixed in the desired location. Compliance with EN 14604: 2005 + AC1: 2008, certified by BSI-KM514007, proves high quality and compliance with rigorous safety standards. The sensor is powered by a 9V DC battery to ensure stable operation throughout its lifetime (battery included). The sensor has a number of functions to facilitate daily operation.
