The big brother (the WHIPPY model) has been sold in excess of 2.5 million units, and now the WHIPPY has undergone a major upgrade with very favourable results. The diameter has changed - in the new version it is 3.0mm (whereas its predecessor was 1.8mm), allowing for additional copper strands, which in turn improved charging performance. The thicker and more flexible cable armour guarantees better protection and bending strength. This model of cable has undergone machine testing and has withstood more than 80,000 bends, while top competitors boast 10,000 or 30,000 bends. The armour is incredibly flexible and more pleasant to the touch than its predecessor. The connector housings have received a metal ring at the ends, increasing their stability.
The Pro version also allows iPhones to be charged at 12W.
The 0.9 metre length is ideal for use in the car on the front seats, while the 2 metre version will provide comfort in all other circumstances. The ergonomic plug allows you to charge your phone without having to remove the case. The WHIPPY Pro is available in a range of dark colours to suit your preferences, on top of that it's durable, pretty and efficient, and if that wasn't enough - it's available in a variety of variants including USB-A > USB-C, USB-C > USB-C and USB-C > LIGHTNING*.
